Products with Alpha-glucosidase inhibitors bioactivity

Cat.No. Product Name
BCN3849 Irigenin
Irigenin, an α-glucosidase inhibitor, which has anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, and anti-metastatic effects. Irigenin can inhibit the expression of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) and cyclooxygenase (COX)-2 proteins and mRNAs without an appreciable cytotoxic effect. Irigenin displays moderate activity as inducers of NAD(P)H:quinone reductase (QR) in cultured mouse Hepa 1c1c7 cells.
BCN3886 Gitogenin
1. Gitogenin, tigogenin, and solasodine are novel selective inhibitors of UGT1A4, and do not inhibit the activities of major human CYP isoforms. 2. Gitogenin and (25S)-5α-furastan-3β,22,26-triol are the inhibitors of enzyme α-glucosidase with IC50 values of 37.2±0.18 and 33.5±0.22 uM, respectively. 3. Gitogenin shows moderate stimulation of release activity on growth hormone from rat pituitary cells.
BCN4179 beta-Amyrone
1. beta-Amyrone has antifungal activity. 2. beta-Amyrone exhibits anti-α-glucosidase inhibitory activity and moderate anti- acetylcholinesterase (AChE) activity. 3. beta-Amyrone shows a moderate activity against Chikungunya virus replication (EC50 =86 uM).
BCN4181 Torachrysone 8-O-glucoside
1. Torachryson-8-O-glucoside shows alpha-glucosidase inhibitory activities, it may be used for the management of type 2 diabetes.
BCN4509 Guajadial
1. Guajadial, psidial A and psiguadials A and B can reduce tumor growth and stimulate uterus proliferation, suggest that they may act as Selective Estrogen Receptors Modulators (SERMs), therefore holding significant potential for anticancer therapy. 2. Guajadial shows α-glucosidase inhibitory activities significantly and its activity was better than that of Acarbose. 3. Guajadial exhibits potent inhibitory effects on the growth of human hepatoma cells.
