METHODS AND RESULTS:
Three compounds, 6-deoxyisojacareubin (1), 6-Prenylquercetin-3-methylether (2) and vanillic acid (3), were isolated from Hypericum wightianum Wall. ex Wight et Arn. and their structures were elucidated by spectral evidence.
CONCLUSIONS:
Three compounds were obtained from this plant for the first time.
