Cardiovascular Research

The cardiovascular, or circulatory, system is a closed elastic circuit consisting of the heart, blood vessels (arteries, capillaries and veins) and the blood. The primary function is to pump oxygenated blood to the tissues throughout the body and reabsorb waste carbon dioxide for its removal. This function is performed by the use of pulmonary and systemic circulation.

  1. Cat.No. Product Name Information/Activity
  2. BCC7235 Paxilline Paxilline is an indole alkaloid mycotoxin from Penicillium paxilli, acts as a potent BK channels inhibitor by an almost exclusively closed-channel block mechanism. Paxilline also inhibits the sarco/endoplasmic reticulum Ca2+ ATPase (SERCA) with IC50s between 5 μM and 50 μM for differing isoforms. Paxilline possesses significant anticonvulsant activity. Paxilline chemical structure
  3. BCN5653 Kaempferol Kaempferol inhibits estrogen receptor α expression in breast cancer cells and induces apoptosis in glioblastoma cells and lung cancer cells by activation of MEK-MAPK. Kaempferol chemical structure
  4. BCC4773 Cyclosporin A Cyclosporin A is an immunosuppressant which binds to the cyclophilin and inhibits phosphatase activity of calcineurin with an IC50 of 5 nM. Cyclosporin A also inhibits CD11a/CD18 adhesion. Cyclosporin A chemical structure
  5. BCC5288 TRO 19622 Olesoxime (TRO 19622) is a mitochondrial-targeted neuroprotective compound with mean EC50 value for increasing cell survival is 3.2±0.2 µM. TRO 19622 chemical structure
  6. BCC7952 Auranofin Auranofin (SKF-39162) is a thioredoxin reductase (TrxR) inhibitor with an IC50 of 0.2 μM. Auranofin chemical structure
  7. BCC7674 Benzamil Benzamil hydrochloride (Benzylamiloride hydrochloride), an Amiloride analogue, is a Na+/Ca2+ exchanger (NCX) inhibitor (IC50~100 nM). Benzamil hydrochloride also is a non-selective Deg/epithelial sodium channels (ENaC) blocker, and can potentiate myogenic vasoconstriction. Benzamil hydrochloride inhibits TRPP3-mediated Ca2+-activated currents, with an IC50 of 1.1 μM. Benzamil chemical structure
  8. BCC7864 Bepridil hydrochloride Bepridil hydrochloride (CERM 1978) is a calcium channel blocker, with antianginal activity. Bepridil hydrochloride chemical structure
  9. BCC6943 CGP 37157 CGP37157 is a potent, selective inhibitor of Na+/Ca2+ exchanger, inhibiting the Na+-induced Ca2+-release from guinea-pig heart mitochondria, with an IC50 of 0.8 μM. CGP 37157 chemical structure
  10. BCC7273 SN-6 SN 6 is a selective Na+/Ca2+ exchanger (NCX) inhibitor, and inhibits 45Ca2+ uptake by NCX1, NCX2, and NCX3, with IC50s of 2.9, 16, and 8.6 μM, respectively. SN-6 chemical structure
  11. BCC6222 YM 244769 837424-39-2 YM 244769 chemical structure
