Pyrrolizidine alkaloids of Heliotropium spathulatum
Phytochemistry Volume 30, Issue 5, 1991, Pages 1703–1706
Isolation and structural determination of the pyrrolizidine alkaloids of Heliotropium spathulatum are reported. The alkaloids lycopsamine, amabiline, curassavinine, coromandalinine, heliovicine, coromandaline, Curassavine and the two new pyrrolizidine alkaloids, heliospathine and heliospathuline were determined by spectroscopic methods. Traces of another new alkaloid were detected.
