Products with Antagonists bioactivity

Cat.No. Product Name
BCN2293 Yohimbine
Yohimbine is a potent and relatively nonselective alpha 2-adrenergic receptor (AR) antagonist, with IC50 of 0.6 μM. Yohimbine may augment extinction learning without significant side effects, and as a therapeutic augmentation strategy for exposure therapy in social anxiety disorder. Yohimbine can be used as antagonistic agents against medetomidine-induced diuresis in healthy cats; it inhibits ATP-sensitive K+ channels in mouse pancreatic beta-cells.
BCN2325 Nonivamide
Nonivamide, present in chili peppers, is commonly manufactured synthetically and used as a food additive to add pungency to seasonings, flavorings, and spice blends. Nonivamide and capsaicin are novel skin permeation enhancers for indometacin. Nonivamide has antioxidant, anti-obesity, and anti-inflammatory effects, it reduces energy intake, enhances energy metabolism, decreases serum triacylglycerol content, and inhibits adipogenesis via activation of the transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily V member 1 (TRPV1).
BCN2406 Isosilybin
Isosilybin and Silybin might be suitable candidates to design potent PXR antagonists to prevent drug-drug interactions via CYP3A4 in cancer patients.
BCN2421 Cyclo(Tyr-Pro)
Cyclo(Tyr-Pro) shows antibacterial activity towards several marine bacterial species, it also shows weak antagonistic activity against VEGFR2 -CD. Cyclo(Tyr-Pro) and cyclo(Pro-Val) are toxic to both suspension cells and seedlings of Pinus thunbergii, which may offer some clues to research the mechanism of pine wilt disease caused by pine wood nematode.
BCN2431 Cyclo(Phe-Gly)
Cyclo(Phe-Gly) shows weak antagonistic activity against VEGFR2 -CD, it also shows strong inhibitory activity against human cancer cells(KB,KBv200) with LD50 at 6.5 and 11.2 umol/L,respectively.
