GABAA Receptor

GABAA receptors are members of the Cys-loop family of ligand-gated ion channels and, along with GABAB receptors, are responsible for mediating the inhibitory effects of GABA. They are pentameric proteins, consisting of five subunits belonging to different families.

  1. Cat.No. Product Name Information/Activity
  2. BCC4930 Primidone Primidone is an anticonvulsant of the pyrimidinedione class. Primidone chemical structure
  3. BCC7095 SB 205384 GABAA receptor modulator; slows current decay SB 205384 chemical structure
  4. BCC2314 Topiramate Topiramate (McN 4853) is a broad-spectrum antiepileptic agent. Topiramate is a GluR5 receptor antagonist. Topiramate produces its antiepileptic effects through enhancement of GABAergic activity, inhibition of kainate/AMPA receptors, inhibition of voltage-sensitive sodium and calcium channels, increases in potassium conductance, and inhibition of carbonic anhydrase.
