Biological Activity

Isocryptotanshinone is a natural bioactive product that is isolated from the roots of the widely used medical herb Salvia miltiorrhiza, inhibits MCF-7 cell proliferation by inducing apoptosis and activating MAPK signaling pathways.[1]
Isocryptotanshinone is a STAT3 inhibitor, induces apoptosis and pro-death autophagy in A549 lung cancer cells.[2]
